This is the main entertainment disco in Patong beach and will surely not disappoint. The pink neon signs and thumping of the music coming from the bars will make an assault on your senses. You’ll see a mix of people on Bangla road, from family’s walking down the road with children taking in the sights and sounds to drunken backpackers enjoying their gap year and everything in between.
Soi Bangla is a small walking street that stretches between Beach Road and Rat U Thit road, a block long. During the day cars drive up and down the streets, but when dusk falls cars are prohibited and it is only for walking.
Bangla Road itself is not home to many bars, however there are a number so Soi (Streets) off the main road, and this is where the action is. If they were streets once, what they are now is really an outdoor beer garden. Each Soi is setup a little different but for the most part it is wall to wall bars with some open space and tables in the middle for people to gather.
The main Sois starting from beach road are Soi Easy, Soi Gonzo, Soi Crocodile, Soi Eric, Soi Seadragon, Soi Seafood, Soi Lion, Soi Tiger, Soi Vegas.
