One of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Phuket, Laem Sing beach used to only known to locals and frequent visitors. It has grown in popularity and now attracts quite a number of tourists every year and it’s not hard to see why.
Laem Sing beach has white sand beaches and beautiful blue green waters. It is nestled into the jungle and trees as an amazing backdrop. You feel like you are on tropical island without a resort in sight. It is a great beach to spend your day relaxing.
Laem Sing Beach Facilities
There are a couple of rustic bathrooms available for people to use. There is also a make shift shower at the southern end of the beach – a hose hanging from a tree. Not fancy but it gets the job done.
You can rent a cushioned beach chair for about 100 Baht for the day which is quite reasonable. There are umbrellas next to the chairs for those that wish for a little shade. Attendants come by regularly to adjust your umbrella, broom sand off vacant chairs, and take food and drink orders that they will then deliver to you. It is amazing service on a budget price.
Laem Sing Beach Restaurants
There are several restaurants available on Laem Sing. It has the beach feel with tables and chairs sitting in the sand. The food is quite good and reasonably price. You can pay as you go or they will add it to your bill that you have at your beach chair.
Laem Sing Beach Activities
There are a number of things to do at Laem Sing other than just sitting in the sun. There are jet ski rentals as well as a stand or too that will rent beach games, floats, and soccer balls.
If you are in the mood for a massage there are several places that you can get one on the beach. Alui Massage has a large shack at the end of the beach and there are a few other providers as well.
Getting To Laem Sing Beach
This beach is not as easy to find as many others, which is probably good as it would really be overcrowded with tourists. It is located between Kamala and Surin beaches. There is a small parking area just off the side of the road where you can park your scooter or car for a small fee.
You will have to hike down a steep and unprepared trail to get to the beach. So keep that in mind before you go. But once down the hill the forest opens up to the wonder that is Laem Sing Beach.
